PEER NETWORKING AND CAREER STRATEGIES

2nd New Researchers Network (NRN) Workshop at 2007 Annual Meeting of ISEE in Mexico

Aims

Our aim is to build up a network to communicate about ideas and issues particularly relevant to those in the early stages of their careers, and to foster communication between new researchers working in different countries.
At this workshop we will start with a panel discussion on career strategies, followed by an open discussion.

Target Audience

The symposium will be held exclusively for people who define themselves as new researchers: students, postdocs and anyone who considers him or herself a new researcher (broadly intended as someone who finished their degree less than 10 years ago and is not heading a large research team).
