| Mission
Statement The New Researchers Network (NRN) aims to build up a network to communicate about ideas and issues particularly relevant to researchers in the early stages of their careers. It is open to all people starting a career in environmental epidemiology and/or exposure assessment. The annual ISEE conference is a unique opportunity to meet colleagues from around the world and to learn about current results and methodological issues. This makes it an ideal platform for new researchers to exchange information amongst themselves and form their own peer networks. Events and
Audience At the Paris
ISEE
conference in 2006 the first peer networking workshop was held by NRN,
followed workshops at the ISEE 2007 in Our goal is
to regularly
organize events at the annual ISEE conference for people who
define
themselves as new researchers: students, postdocs and anyone who
considers him
or herself a new researcher (broadly intended as someone who finished
their

--- PAST EVENTS ---At the 2008 Joint Annual Conference in Pasadena, USA we co-organized a workshop and reception for
students and new researchers with record participation of more than 100 attendants
At the ISEE conference in 2007 in Mexico we held a workshop on career strategies and networking. For a documentation of the 2007 event -including photos- click here.
